Bring your littles and join us for Annie's Reading Corner each Friday morning, at 10:00 a.m., for the month of October. You and your little one(s) will enjoy a sweet morning of reading with our favorite reader, Annie. Also, enjoy special treats for both littles and parents. We just ask that parents remain with their little ones throughout the reading period.

Each week we will feature a new children's book with a fresh fun theme. For the last Reading Corner on Oct 28, plan to dress in costume (optional) as this event will be Halloween-themed.

ALL ABOUT ANNIE

Annie dressed as a reading fairy, Annie's Reading Corner

JAnnie has been a Heyday sales team superstar since 2019. She plays an important role as the face of Heyday in the store, going out of her way to treat every customer like they're the most special person in the room. Often times first time customers become Annie's newest friends.

Annie co-founded Annie’s Reading Corner with Heyday owner, Mallory Dabney, in 2021 as a way to bring the Bozeman community together, specifically littles one and their parents/grandparents. She has a true gift of making books exciting, as she captivates the young audience with her charisma and fun costumes.

10/21 FEATURED READ

Join us on Oct. 21, when we will feature guest author, Santral Lusin. She will delight the audience with a read from her sweet story, Cloud your Burps are Loud.

First of a three part series of books, Cloud your Burps are Loud is about the sounds you hear during a rainstorm and where those noises come from. Are they burps from a cloud, perhaps, or something else?

Santral Lusin is an artist, illustrator, and teller of tales. She grew up in Kennewick, Washington and now resides in Bozeman, Montana. She has a graduate background in modern U.S. History, mother of two young children, the volunteer community coordinator for a local Montessori school, and SCBWI member who has spent years working in the nonprofit world. She is intrigued by the colorful world around her and sees art as a medium through which our dreams speak. Kids need to see themselves reflected in joy filled stories not just biographies, historical fiction or cause books.
